Drain and rinse them with cold water. Squeeze out the excess water and keep them aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Making the Gravy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the chopped onions and saut\u00e9 until golden brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili, saut\u00e9 for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the masala.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes, stirring continuously.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Adding Soya Chunks and Capsicum<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Add the boiled soya chunks to the masala and mix well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toss in the cubed capsicum and saut\u00e9 for 2-3 minutes. The capsicum should remain slightly crunchy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add water to achieve your desired gravy consistency.
