Set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grind the Masala<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>In a mixer, grind grated coconut, green chilies, cumin seeds, and soaked rice into a smooth paste with little water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make the Buttermilk Base<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Whisk the curd with a little water to make smooth buttermilk. Keep aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Combine Everything<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Add the ground coconut paste to the cooked pumpkin along with little water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simmer for 2\u20133 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce the flame completely and slowly stir in the whisked buttermilk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add salt as required and keep the flame very low (do not allow it to boil, or the curd will split).
