Ingredients:
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 small boiled potato, diced
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala (found in Indian stores)
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Optional toppings: Tamarind chutney, green chutney, Sev (found in Indian stores), puffed rice, guava, non-sweet biscuit, mixture, amchur powder
Instructions:
- Gently crush the corn flakes and put them in a big bowl.
- Add the chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, boiled potato, green chili (if using), and coriander leaves.
- Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture. Sprinkle the chaat masala, roasted cumin powder (if using), and a little salt.
- Mix everything well so the flavors blend together.
- Taste a small bit and adjust the salt or lemon juice as needed.
- If you have tamarind chutney and green chutney, drizzle a little over the mixture for extra flavor.
- Transfer the mixture to serving plates or bowls.
- If you have Sev, sprinkle some on top for extra crunch.
