Corn Flakes Chaat

Corn flakes chaat is a delightful and crunchy snack that combines the goodness of corn flakes with the tanginess of chaat flavors.


  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 small boiled potato, diced
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala (found in Indian stores)
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional toppings: Tamarind chutney, green chutney, Sev (found in Indian stores), puffed rice, guava, non-sweet biscuit, mixture, amchur powder


  1. Gently crush the corn flakes and put them in a big bowl.
  2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, boiled potato, green chili (if using), and coriander leaves.
  3. Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture. Sprinkle the chaat masala, roasted cumin powder (if using), and a little salt.
  4. Mix everything well so the flavors blend together.
  5. Taste a small bit and adjust the salt or lemon juice as needed.
  6. If you have tamarind chutney and green chutney, drizzle a little over the mixture for extra flavor.
  7. Transfer the mixture to serving plates or bowls.
  8. If you have Sev, sprinkle some on top for extra crunch.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade corn flakes chaat as a quick snack or appetizer.
